Sound Task - The Day After Tomorrow Clip - Written by Lucy

For the sound task, Leah and I decided to use 'The Day After Tomorrow' clip as we thought that if we used the right sound effects and other non-diegetic sounds we could make the sequence very powerful.
We used sound effects from garage band including; Smash Glass 2, Thunder and Lightning 2, Thunder Roll, Thunder Clap, Rain Heavy Thunder and Lobby Conversation 3.
We then found copyright free clips to add to the tension and overall atmosphere of the sequence these were the tsunami effects, the screaming and the very tense soundtrack used throughout the entire piece.
For the foley which we created, we thought dialogue would be a good choice as there aren't many SFX out there which would have given us exactly what we wanted. This dialogue is found at the end of the clip when the French lady forgets her bag in the taxi.
